Wine tasting and tour at Vignoble Angst

To combine winemaking and cultural discovery, the Vignoble Angst offers you a guided tour of Pontigny Abbey, the largest Cistercian abbey in the world – followed by a tasting session.

The visit is commented by a guide-lecturer: the history of the abbey, its community, its role in the development of Chablis wines from the 12th century. You will see the labelling room and the vaulted cellar with an explanation of the terroir of the Yonne and the wines of the estate

The tasting is then an opportunity to discuss with the owners of the winery Céline and Antoine. They will tell you the story of their winery and their wines of course, but also about their working methods, about the region. They can be adapted to any type of audience, whether you are experts or beginners.
