I am proudly a producer of Barbera d'Asti, a great wine that is good to drink in the cold months and, slightly cool, in the summer as well. I propose a vertical tasting of three vintages of Barbera d'Asti:
-vendemmia 2020 paired with lard and cured meats,
-vintage 2018 paired with a taste of Bagna Cauda
-vendemmia 2016 paired with medium-aged cheeses. The latter is the grape harvested from my 80-year-old vineyard, which I have chosen to bottle only in magnum.
The tasting is preceded by a walk through my organic vineyards and a short visit to the winery.
