As part of your experience, you will also have the opportunity to stroll through the surrounding vineyards and visit our barrel cellar, where you can learn about our winemaking process.

We knew we were going to have a group of 12 visitors from the UK, but it was a surprise to find out it was 12 ladies. Passionate about lovely wines who brought even more sunshine to the vineyards of Vignobles Darriet with their good humour and laughter. We recently visited chateau Dauphine-Rondillon, we were a group of 12 ladies from the UK, and had a great experience. We had a tasting tour followed by a picnic in the Castle Park. Chris was fantastic and very knowledgeable, the food was delicious, and he talked us through all the different wines. Our favourite being Chateaux des Gravieres Bordeaux rosé which we very much appreciated very cool with our picnic in the sunshine.

A perfect start to a weekend

We participated in a tour of the vineyard and tasted 6 wines. There were 3 of us, and our guide spent a lot of time explaining the wines, the regions, and a few treasures on the estate. Picnic lunch (pate, quiche, salad, bread, fruit salad and a bottle of wine), accompanied by a long conversation with the vintner, this generation of a family that has owned the vineyard since the 1700s. Fabulous!

Exceptional vineyard and exceptional winegrowers 😊. All the employees are very kind and very pleasant. Don’t hesitate to stop by, you won’t be disappointed 👍🥂. Superb visit and tasting at Château Dauphiné-Rondillon, a family property in Loupiac, in the company of the owner Mr. DARRIET, passionate and exciting! Everything was perfect, the time allocated, the discovery of the castle, the barrel cellar and to finish a superb tasting with exceptional wines! A big strong point also on the possibility of buying old vintages, really showing the evolution of the wines and their very high quality. We will not fail to come back during our next visits to Loupiac! I recommend with my eyes closed! Absolutely a cellar! Thanks again
