We had such a wonderful time doing this tasting at the Fausta family vineyard. The tasting was expertly carried out, with thoughtful food pairing presented with each wine. The tastings were generous in size and we were also able to taste two extra wines at no charge at the end. We bought a bottle of our favourite at a very reasonable price too. The farm itself is beautiful, friendly dogs and rural charm. Couldn't recommend this experience more.
One of the best wine tasting we've had (and we've done quite a few to compare with). Olaf and Paula have been very welcoming and warm. The one hour experience extended to almost 3 hrs as we had so much fun. Olaf was clearly very experienced in wines and was very happy to share his knowledge with us. Each wine was accompanied by a food pairing and it was absolutely exceptionally. lso we felt super comfortable as they prepared separate tables for each group, so we almost felt like we were going for a dinner on our own. We also enjoyed the sunset at their vineyards which has intensified the experience even more. The cherry on the cake. We felt so bad we couldn't buy at bottle (or a few) of each wine to take back with us because of the luggage we had on our way back. If you have to choose a wine tasting, this is a must do in Sicily. Great hosting, a wonderful serene evening drinking fine wines. Also loved the friendly dogs that prowled around looking for a pat.
