Sicily Wine & Vineyard Tour with Tasting & Local Bites

We visited their farm in a sunny afternoon and had a very informative and tasty time. Snacks paired with each wine were very creative and made great matches, also the friendly owner explained and answered our questions about the wine and vineyard thoroughly. Recommended!

Olaf was a very generous host We paired 5 wines with 5 plates sat under the shade of a delightful pergola in 35c heat He showed us his winery and explained very well the different processes and reasoning behind his delicious wines

We ha a really nice experience! It was intresting to learn about the different kind of wines. Everything tasted really good. We are very satisfied with the wine tasting!

We had such a wonderful time doing this tasting at the Fausta family vineyard. The tasting was expertly carried out, with thoughtful food pairing presented with each wine. The tastings were generous in size and we were also able to taste two extra wines at no charge at the end. We bought a bottle of our favourite at a very reasonable price too. The farm itself is beautiful, friendly dogs and rural charm. Couldn't recommend this experience more.

One of the best wine tasting we've had (and we've done quite a few to compare with). Olaf and Paula have been very welcoming and warm. The one hour experience extended to almost 3 hrs as we had so much fun. Olaf was clearly very experienced in wines and was very happy to share his knowledge with us. Each wine was accompanied by a food pairing and it was absolutely exceptionally. lso we felt super comfortable as they prepared separate tables for each group, so we almost felt like we were going for a dinner on our own. We also enjoyed the sunset at their vineyards which has intensified the experience even more. The cherry on the cake. We felt so bad we couldn't buy at bottle (or a few) of each wine to take back with us because of the luggage we had on our way back. If you have to choose a wine tasting, this is a must do in Sicily. Wonderful host and owner provided a lot of information about his wines and also more broadly Sicily wines. The small plates with each wine were also amazing. Loved our time there, and enjoyed all of the wines. Highly recommend!

There was such a lovely calm and homely vibe at the tasting. Our hosts were incredibly knowledgeable with a clear love for the wine they create. The wine itself was beautiful and had flavourings that gave a tasty depiction of the local area. We wanted to take each bottle home but unfortunately did not have enough room in our suitcase! The food that was paired with each wine was perfectly matched and very tasty. We loved our experience here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic wine tasting experience with fantastic hosts.

Olaf being a native Sicilian occupied with traditional winemaking and olives despite his unusual Italian name was serving 5 wines at his property. Actually he got his name as his mother like the name of the old Viking king Olaf. It was a very nice experience and as we visited saracusa in October it was very quiet, nice temperature outside and we were the only guests. We also got to see his cellar with tanks, storage and labeling. A great experience!

Our visit started with a relaxed tasting of four different wines, each one accompanied by a delicious appetizer prepared by the wife of owner-winemaker Olaf. Olaf himself explained the characteristics of the wines in turn and how they were made. We then got to see his winery including the press and fermentation tanks, finishing up with a leisurely stroll around one of his vineyards. Olaf was a friendly, knowledgeable host happy to explain his approach to viticulture and winemaking in as much detail as we wanted. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and tasting the Fausta Mansio wines.
