Anne Parmentier, the winemaker of Château Les Chaumes, welcomes you to visit the winery. She would like to share with you her wine knowledge. She will make the introduction to wine tasting and help you understand how a wine develops in barrels.
You will see the vineyard, the cellar and the wine storehouse. You will learn the process of a barrel making thanks to an exhibition of old cooper’s tools and a documentary on the making of barrels.
Additionally, you can have a picnic. At Château Les Chaumes will provide you with a picnic box that includes mixed salad, home-made pâté, handmade chips, cheese, and cake. Of course also a bottle of wine paired.
Here you can taste red wines from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Malbec.
