Beautiful. Impressive how this family has acquired over time such a quantity of tools and works of art related to wine and has built a modern and well-made museum.

It is a winery, it is a museum, it is an experience. With a privileged location at the foot of the Briones, on the banks of the Ebro and just 39 km from Logroño. Visiting this winery means visiting wine and learning about its origins and its influence on the world of art throughout human history. Architecturally, the winery is a jewel. From the wide spiral staircase to the cellars that transport you to the most pharaonic Egypt with their open papyri-shaped columns. As if all that were not enough, inside it also houses the largest collection of corkscrews in the world, where you will find countless curiosities. We ended the visit in the restaurant and opted for the tasting menu as the crowning glory of this unforgettable experience, which I recommend 100%. You will not regret it.

The winery is very pretty on a hill from which you have spectacular views of the town and the mountains. The best, without a doubt, is the Raíces Riojanas tasting menu: black pudding croquettes, fulminating potatoes with chorizo, beans that revive, cod Riojan style and suckling lamb, to finish with torrija (superb), a delight!

A wonderful journey through 8000 years of wine making and it's influence on religion, community, and lifestyle.

The museum was world class! We’ve been to winelands around the world and have never seen such an amazing presentation of wine history or collection of wine-related items ie: corkscrews, vessels, etc Book ahead for a tasting / museum package. The views and property are lovely. Tasting was OK experience. Shop had nice options.
