At Velistsikhe Veranda, KTW Group has created a state-of-the-art winery that showcases the rich tradition of Georgian winemaking. The facility consists of three distinct buildings, each dedicated to the unique processes of wine, brandy, and chacha production. Visitors are welcomed daily to learn about these time-honored techniques and sample a variety of Georgian alcoholic beverages right on-site. The Wine Chambers are the heart of the experience, where a knowledgeable sommelier leads engaging wine tastings and masterclasses. Guests will have the opportunity to taste rare and traditional Georgian grape varieties, gaining insight into the culture and customs surrounding wine consumption in Georgia. One of the highlights of your visit will be tasting wines directly from the qvevris, the traditional clay vessels used for fermentation. This authentic experience is a must for any wine enthusiast. Join us at Velistsikhe Veranda for an unforgettable day of wine tasting and cultural appreciation.

Very, very good resturente, recomended, grand panoramic views on Velistsixe vineyards and Ilias Lake. There are open balconies where you can enjoy fresh air, best Georgian tradicional dishis and natural Georgian vine. If you find yourself nearby and you will be at the same time hungry, I highly recommend this nice place...

You can't call it a trip; there was no guide. But we were satisfied: two wines and chacha to taste, cheese and bread, a quick churchkhela, and a delicious meal at the restaurant (the doner kebab wasn't bad either). It was well worth the money and convenient (right on the road from Sighnaghi to Telavi).
