Welcome to Fattoria Majnoni Guicciardini, an organic and regenerative family-owned farm established in 1870, nestled in the charming medieval village of Vico d'Elsa in the heart of Chianti. Join us for an unforgettable wine tasting experience that highlights our commitment to organic and sustainable practices.

Your visit begins with an engaging presentation about our winery's history and philosophy. Next, stroll through our vineyards and historic threshers, where you'll learn about organic and regenerative agriculture, as well as the art of natural winemaking in today's world.

Afterward, tour our cellars to gain insight into the winemaking process and the cultural significance behind Fattoria Majnoni Guicciardini's wines. Don't miss the chance to take in the breathtaking views from our panoramic terrace, overlooking the stunning landscape of San Gimignano.

For those interested in history, consider adding a visit to Villa Guicciardini, which showcases Italian art and architecture from the 11th to the 19th century. This extension lasts an additional 30 minutes and costs €15 per person.

Your wine tasting will take place in our historic oil mill, where you'll sample three organic wines: White (Spareto), Rosé, and Chianti Superiore. Each wine is paired with a delightful organic aperitif featuring local specialties like shepherd’s ricotta cheese drizzled with our organic olive oil, shepherd’s salami, and traditional Tuscan bread.

Very personal atmosphere and an extensive and intriguing history lesson on the vineyard and the family. I’m personally not a wine connoisseur but it was very educating to learn how wine is produced. We were allowed to try the grapes and different fruit in the garden. Which really gave me an insight to what real produce tastes like. We had a light lunch including local cheeses and cold cuts which was immaculate. Also, the dog is adorable. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area and want to do something a little more exciting than going to the over touristed cities.

We had a private tour that was recommended to us by our Airbnb host. It was super interesting, we got very good insights. The family attaches great importance to sustainable production, which impressed us a lot. Wine production has a long family history. We were guided through the winery and the wine cellar. Afterwards we were given a tour of the building, which has belonged to the family for many generations and tells a lot of history. The final meal with local products and 4 wines from their production was a perfect conclusion with a beautiful ambience.

Wonderful experience, from the explanation of the care dedicated to the environment and the vineyard, to the visit of the residence of the historic and aristocratic family, to the genuine, sophisticated lunch with perfect wine paring. Congratulations!
