A beautiful experience visiting the Castorani winery with lunch included. The winery is extremely modern and very well finished. We were welcomed as if we were at home and guided through the winery, with an explanation of all the processes and the different wine lines. We then moved on to lunch, which was simple but complete across all courses, paired with 8 different types of wines produced by the winery — all delicious. A homely experience, with the staff sitting at the same table, sharing stories and chatting with us. There is also the possibility to stay on-site.
We had a great experience with an informative tour, and tastings of very good wine. We had plenty of time to ask questions and were not rushed to leave after our tour. The lunch we had was excellent.
Wow! This was truly one of the most memorable wine tastings we have experienced. Mattia was knowledgeable, engaging and friendly. The entire winery from vineyards to the production and bottling facilities were pristine. The grounds were stunning. Our tasting included a three course lunch exquisitely prepared by Enzo Trulli, it was a culinary delight. It was an unexpected personalized experience that we will fondly remember. Each wine was unique and delicious- we enjoyed them so much we are having some shipped home. We hope to return for a visit in the future.
