Your visit begins in the spacious courtyard, leading you up the scenic Moncucco hill. Here, we will guide you through our oldest vineyard, sharing insights into the challenges of manual labor and grape harvesting. The tour continues in our winemaking and aging rooms, located on two levels, where we will explain how our equipment operates.
From the cold storage to the pressing area, you will learn about the winemaking process, from the arrival of grapes to the bottling stage. We will provide a close-up look at our machinery, helping you understand how each component works. Next, we will take you to our cellar, showcasing our steel and fiberglass barrels, with plans to introduce barriques soon. You will gain insights into the aging process and the specific needs of different grape varieties, along with a demonstration of our bottling and labeling system. Finally, you will relax in our newly renovated tasting room, where you can select from a variety of wines to sample.
Each tasting experience is complemented by a selection of local delicacies. Enjoy Piedmontese cow cheese, salami, lard, and cugnà, a traditional Langhe compote made with mixed fruits, spices, and nuts. A wine tasting at Cascina Fontanette winery promises an unforgettable experience for you and your loved ones.
