In the 1940s, my great-grandparents, Pierre and Marie Chevalier, purchased land for each of their five children. Their daughter Catherine and her husband Daniel Lhuillier received a beautiful plot in Vérac, where Château Haut-Gaussens was born. This cherished vineyard has since been passed down to my parents, Michel and Annie Lhuillier.
Today, my sister Delphine and I proudly manage these 15 hectares, honoring the land and the legacy we inherited. Our commitment to sustainable practices ensures that we can cultivate the vineyard ourselves, overseeing every step from vine care to bottling. This hands-on approach allows us to produce high-quality wines that reflect our family's dedication and the unique terroir of the region.
During your visit, you will have the opportunity to taste our exquisite wines and learn about our winemaking process. We invite you to join us for a memorable experience that celebrates our family's history and passion for wine. Bring your family and friends to share in the joy of Château Haut-Gaussens.
