The owners will warmly welcome you for a visit to their winery. You will have an explanation about the grape varieties and the famous Saumur Champigny appellation.
Then, you will discover all the facilities: wine storehouse, barrel, and tun maturing storehouses. The tasting takes place according to the season on the terrace overlooking the village of Parnay or in the tasting room (with the same view). To finish, you will taste 4 wines pairing with local bouchées in order to put into practice what you have learned!
You can also choose a “troglodytique” experience where you will lunch in a troglodyte restaurant and then, have a tour to discover all the facilities explained above plus a visit to the troglodyte wineries below the cellar. You will have explanations about troglodytism and life in the area until the end of the 1950s.
The domain is labelled “Vignobles et Découvertes”, “Cave D’excellence – InterLoire”, and “Gold Prize at the Oenotourism Trophies” 2019 and 2020.
