Not to be missed. Perfect blend of art, love of land and sustainable viticulture. Wines are excellent. Leave plenty of time to tour the art exhibits placed throughout the vineyards. Their love of the land and Catalonia is obvious in everything they do.

A fantastic experience, an idyllic place immersed in nature where art is present both outside among the vineyards and garrigues, and inside the winery premises. The warm welcome of the owner family and their collaborators made us feel very welcome. (Edu is a crack) Sara's introduction to us exuded love for the land and pride in the work they do. The tasting was a success, thank you, keep it up.

Some friends making country recently gave me a Saó Abrívat 2021 from the Costers del Segre Designation of Origin, made and bottled by Mas Blanch i Jové, SLU, an organic wine from La Pobla de Cérvoles (Lleida) with a production limited to 10,650 bottles. In the mouth it is a soft but structured, long and warm wine obtained from 40 percent Tempranillo, 35 percent Grenache and 25 percent Carberrnet Sauvignon, reaching an alcohol content of 14.5 degrees. By sight we can capture an intense cherry red, and on the nose its fruity aromas (ripe red fruit) and spicy notes reminiscent of vanilla, cinnamon and black pepper. The winery reminds us that it is a broth that can be served perfectly between 16 and 18 degrees of temperature and its pairing is suitable for both red meats or in sauce, as well as with pasta dishes. After harvesting and vinification, it is aged for 12 months in medium and light toasted French (42%) and American (58%) oak barrels. Mas Blanch i Jové makes its wines mainly from native varietals, coming from vineyards located at more than 700 meters above sea level, on soils with a clay and calcareous texture, very close to Priorat. A wine that will leave a good taste in your mouth and where all the winemaking wisdom of a family committed to the values of respect for the environment and climate change is condensed, which is why this wine has organic certification. For me it has been a chance discovery, because I have tasted few Costers del Segre wines, but this one in particular has left me captivated by its quality and at an affordable price for anyone who wants to enjoy its company at any celebration. Highly recommended in every way, and is intended to expand our private winery.
