Your experience begins among the vineyards with a pleasant walk through the rows of vines, leading to a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the charming village of Bertinoro. Along the way, you will learn about the winery’s philosophy and its ongoing commitment to sustainable farming practices. The tour then continues inside the winery, where you will discover the production methods that make Tenuta La Viola’s wines truly unique. You will also have access to the historic cellar, a fascinating place where past and present come together in every barrel and every bottle. The highlight of the experience is a guided tasting of 6 wines, including 2 Riserva wine, accompanied by a platter of local specialties featuring cured meats, cheeses, and freshly baked piadina. During the warmer months, the tasting takes place under an elegant portico overlooking the vineyards, while in winter you will be welcomed into a cozy indoor tasting room.

A fantastic experience! Mrs. Lidia (along with her friendly cat) gave us an authentic experience among the vineyards and cellars of this amazing corner of the earth. Followed by a tasting of incredible wines accompanied by a generous and varied cutting board.

My husband and I have toured a few wineries in the area and La Viola was by far our best overall experience - genuine. Valentina was personable and generous in sharing her extensive knowledge about the grapes and the complexity of the wine making process. The winery itself has a gorgeous vista, enjoyed during the tasting, which included an artfully arranged platter of local bread, cheeses, etc. The wine is exceptional as well. We had intended to purchase a red that we’ve already been drinking. But the whites were fabulous too! So, we ended up taking home as much wine as would fit into our trunk!

I discovered Tenuta La Viola thanks to an e-bike tour organized by eBike Style-Maela of Cesena (thank you!). It was a pleasant experience that I really appreciated: Valentina accompanied us to the visit to the cellar, to the vineyard and explained the wines to us during the final tasting. The wines were actually very good, even more appreciated because Valentina is a very nice girl who manages to convey her passion for wine and for her work!
