Write a reviewA lovely place to stay for the weekend, if you want to escape from the city and the noise, here give you all the peace and quite you are looking for. We had some nice walk around the area, with a hotel cat guiding/following us all around. :) The breakfast was really good too. The only pity is that we didn't have more time to enjoy it more. Recommended.

Escolhemos a Quinta da Pousada para passar fim de semana da Alto Douro Region Vinhateiro pelos óptimos comments que lemos e após a nossa estadia so podemos pontuar no máximo. Não é to alojamento comum é uma quinta familiar de várias gerações que o Sr. António tem o orgulho de apresentar de uma forma muito simpática e com toda a cortesia. Sem qualquer solicitação da nossa parte foi-nos proposto que escolhêssemos o quarto onde queríamos ficar sem qualquer custo adicional, apenas para que pudéssemos ter a melhor experiência possível durante a nossa estadia, tendo sido feito um upgrade para um Apartamento complete with a fantastic view and private terrace. As photographs are available only in the Spanish area, you can also see a five-dimensional view of the countryside in a very decorative way with an extremely beautiful view of the landscape. Pequeno almoço tradicionalmente Português com tudo o que é necessary, servido com muita simpatia. Sem dúvida um destino a repetir pois não foi possível aproveitar a quinta e todos os seus espaços da forma que queria por falta de tempo. Altamente recommended!

The quiet location, an oasis of peace, between the fruit trees with a couple of very cute cats that belonged to the accommodation. The lagar room was fantastic. Good shower, spacious room with a nice veranda where you can sit outside even when it rains. Beautiful view over the vineyards and the Douro valley. The owner António is a super nice man who is happy to help you make your stay even more perfect and who enthusiastically tells you about his port and wine. You can also do wine and port tastings there. Fresh fruit for the generous breakfast. It is convenient that you can also have dinner in the restaurant of the Quinta itself, so you don't have to drive. But there are also restaurants about 10 minutes away by car. Another plus is a (free) parking lot next to the Quinta.

What a beautiful beautiful place António and his family has owned for many generations. Once arrived we were met by an extremely talkative, polite and very friendly Andre. He took great care of us under our stay and had many good stories to tell during the port tasting and the rest of our first night! No need to mention the view and how amazing our room was. We will for sure come back next year!
