If you want to learn about Port and Kopke, don’t do it with the masses that have it as one more stop on their bus or boat tour. You will not learn anything and will shuffle along viewing the property hearing bits and pieces as the tour folks chat and talk among themselves. The tour was cut short because of their boat schedule. We had driven there to learn and did not know there was any other option when we signed up.

Kopke is a top and respected brand. But this visit did not represent that well. I caution anyone driving to be careful with the narrow road going up to the Quinta. The tasting felt rushed and uninteresting.
