Château de Chaintres is nestled in a tranquil and picturesque setting, welcoming visitors year-round. Since 2013, the estate has been dedicated to producing organic wines from the AOC Saumur Champigny, AOC Crémant de Loire, AOC Saumur Rosé, and AOC Saumur Blanc appellations.
With a focus on just two grape varieties—Chenin and Cabernet Franc—the winery crafts a diverse range of wines for you to taste during your visit. Whether you come alone or with a group of up to 50 people, Château de Chaintres offers a delightful experience for all wine enthusiasts.
During your visit, the knowledgeable team will guide you through their vineyard, sharing insights about soil management, vine care, and the grape harvest cycle. You will also tour the cellars, where you’ll learn about the winemaking process, including fermentation, vinification, and racking.
