We got to know the Henke winery in Starnberg at the wine fair shortly before Christmas. The winemaker from Franconia (Sommerach, am Main) offers the typical range of the area, such as Silvaner. We were particularly impressed by the Kerner, dry-developed. A grape that has unfortunately now become rare. The 2018 Scheurebe was also very successful. Henke Winery is a very good choice to discover Franconian wine.

Very friendly advice, - the Kerner & Pinot Noir vintage sparkling wine is highly recommended, just like the entire range of wines from our own cultivation. We always like to refresh our wine stocks here.

Small family wine estate, right in the heart of Sommerach. We were there once and Ms. Henke gave us very good and extensive advice. If you like dry, Franconian white wine, you'll really get your money's worth. At that time, Silvana was available from two different locations, one of which was old vines. The dry Scheurrewe is also interesting. Once a year I fill my wine cellar with this delicious wine. The fruit, brandies and mulled wine are also interesting, especially the white mulled wine is enriched with an interesting herbal mixture. According to Ms. Henke, it is still a recipe from her grandmother!

The whole family is a fan of the Henke family's Bacchus. Since 2018 we have been visiting the winery once a year and refilling our wine supply! Great family business
