The picnic at Antiyal winery started with the warm hospitality of Alvaro and Marina! I had a lovely afternoon with my family enjoying the fantastic Antiyal Carmenere. Antiyal pursues 100% organic. The visit exceeded my expectations!

The most personal and also casual tour we took in Chile. The winery is tiny, organic and bio-dynamic. Our tour with Clemente (the owner's son) felt like hanging out with a friend, while learning a lot about fine wine in the process. MUST book in advance. And cell service is advised. We arrived and the place was empty side from 2 dogs. Had to text Clemente to let him know we'd arrived, then he strolled up.

One of our favorite moments during our Maipo Valley visit. Clemente was incredibly generous with his time, knowledge and passion and the wines that Antiyal produces are excellent. The winemaking belies the history and deep knowledge of the family and their dedication to the craft and the terroir. Love the Carmenere!
