Sicily’s Monastic Wine & Cellar visit

We had a tour about the wine making through the cellar. After that we tasted 4 wines with charcuterie and cheeses. It was a nice experience!

Lovely place to visit. But shame the winery was closed as a public holiday. Tour was informative but we did not see the vineyards. Maybe because after harvest? Also, the wine tasting was not interactive. Served 4 wines and left to enjoy the cheese and meat board.

Thought this tour was great, beautiful views and great value, but a little underwhelmed by the cheese and cured meats

The road to the hotel/winery was a little rough and trying to figure out where to go when we got there was kind of confusing (check in at reception), but it was worth the hassle. Paolo, our tour guide, was excellent, very knowledgeable and passionate about wine making! The tour lasted about 30 minutes and then came the tasting in their restaurant. Four wines and a yummy antipasto were served by a friendly and knowledgeable waiter. If you’re in Cefalù or the surrounding area I recommend for an afternoon visit!

We had a tour at the winery and a winetasting afterwards. It was truly enjoyable experience in all respects. Beautiful and historic place, very interesting and informatic tour and excellent wine tasting with plentiful cheese board and very friendly service. A true highlight

Guide was so knowledgeable and warm, thank you Paolo. The food and tasting was great, staff knew their stuff. But it would have been good to have the process explained as most of our group didn’t get the tasting so we were a bit confused after the tour until we asked at reception about the booking, when we were then pointed to the restaurant for our tasting.

Good tour, great wines, especially the aged Ayrah and Nero D'avola.

The winery was beautiful. Tour was good. Short but good. The ending was abrupt. After tour you’re told to go to the tasting room. Your given 4 tastes. None of them were talked about on the tour. It comes with a cheese plate. But then your suddenly left alone. No explanation of where to buy any bottles or that when you’re done you can return upstairs, just nothing. All the tables just kinda looked at each other and wondered what to do.

Una experiencia 100% repetible (We had a wonderful experience during our visit, both at the winery and the Abbazia facilities. Accommodation, restaurant, service, and wines were all excellent! An experience 100% worth repeating.)

You could make some flyers or show papers with the wine process and diferences between the wines. Put some names on the tanks and rooms.

Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful

The vineyard tour was wonderful guide was very well informed and willing to give detailed information about the farm. We also included lunch with tasting. 5 stars ++++++

Perfect activity to learn about the vineyard and how they make Sicilian Wine. The wine tasting experience after with a selection of meats and cheese was delicious. Our Sommelier Jockino was 10/10.
