Bodega Chiappella invites guests and wine enthusiasts to their estate for a pleasant experience. The visit consists of a tour with the owner through the vineyards, depending on the time of the year. See the different varieties and the explanation of the various tasks. You can witness their winemaking techniques in the cellar.
After the tour, taste a white wine, a young red wine, a red reserve, and a natural sparkling wine, with local delicacies like several Uruguayan cheeses and salami, and homemade bread. The owner will explain to you the philosophy behind the wines and their qualities.

Discover Jesus Chiappella The Chiappella family came to Uruguay from Italy’s Piemonte in 1926 and started the story of the winery. In 1959, the Chiappella family acquired the property where the winery is present. Located in Cuchilla de Rocha in Uruguay’s Canelones, their vineyards are right next to the winery. Jesus Chiappella took over in 1988 and reconverted the winery by adding modern techniques and growing international grape varieties.
