Without a doubt, great wines, full of passion and originality, rounded flavors and full of history, Belote red wine, for me, my favorite, with just the right amount of intensity and spectacular aromas. In Magnum format it wins a lot. The Calandria are also brutal, with that touch of jar wines, so typical of being matured in a traditional cave. You have to try them, one of my favorite wines from León.

Impressed with the customer service. The international shipment arrived much earlier than expected, less than 24 hours, Benavente-Dublín by UPS. A visit to the cave is pending to know how this wine is created.

I loved the visit. Alberto, the owner, accompanied us through the winery and explained to us how they make it and how they formerly made wine in the caves in a private visit. Wines are tasted as the visit progresses in the different phases of production, which gives you a great vision of how the wine evolves. It is a small, traditional, family winery. I have visited many wineries of different types and even in several countries and the truth is that Belote has been a very pleasant surprise. I have learned a lot, and I have had a great time. I think the visit is worth every penny you pay for it.

Alberto, one of the owners of the winery, showed us everything. He showed us the facilities, explained the current and traditional processes, which in his case do not differ much either. They do everything following a fairly natural method and gave us details of the wine world that bring you closer to the reality of those who enter this business in a less industrial way. The visit and tasting are totally recommended. Eat something before you go so that your wines don't get too high and bring something warm to be down there.

Excellent wines, unique and bringing out the best of Prieto Picudo and Albarin Blanco. Excellent work from the winery. Wines with a very good history and work in the vineyards to bring out the best of the wines of Cueva de Bodegas Belote. Your visit is recommended and very illustrative and is led by Alberto, partner and winemaker of the winery. Highly recommended.

A different winery with character. It is incredible how well they have known how to treat such authentic and differential grapes as the Prieto Picudo and the Albarin. Endemic varieties, difficult to find, and with that peculiar way of making wines in caves that Bodegas Belote has, have given rise to noble, very round wines, that fill your mouth with flavor and leave such pleasant sensations. My most sincere congratulations.
