If you come to Mittelbergheim, the best winery is DOMAINE ALBERT SELTZ. Albert lives wine and transmits it. His wine is excellent. A magnificent experience!

Great. A very nice lady (who spoke good English) gave us a tour and tasting. For 10 euros per person we got a tour of the winery and were able to taste some wine. We learned a lot about the production and history of wine. Afterwards we also tasted several wines, from reserve wines to grand cru wines. And then of course I bought a nice bottle to take home. Highly recommended.

What an experience

I went on a Viking cruise and this excursion was my absolute favorite! Albert taught me so much about how to truly appreciate wine and how to draw out flavors with the proper pairings, His passion is absolutely contagious but he is also a scientific genius that will still make you gut laugh! Truly an awesome experience!!!

We had a great time at the Albert Seltz domaine. Albert's knowledge and unique approach to wine tasting made it a very enriching and fun experience. I would recommend to any person visiting the region. Ensure you call in advance to book a tasting. He also speaks English fluently which can be convenient.
