Visitors are welcome to spend time at the Vin du Pays de Herve wine cooperative in Belgium to learn more about the workings of a cooperative of this size and of the wine making community and practices in the area. Guests are welcome to explore the local vines in which the grape varietals of Solaris, Johaniter, Souvignier Gris and Muscaris are grown. Following this they are given the opportunity to taste the range of white and sparkling wines that are made from these varietals. While enjoying the wine tasting, visitors are given the opportunity to learn more about the promotion and development of organic agriculture and organic wines. Guests who visit the Vin du Pays de Herve are given access to the vineyards and the various winery’s and cellars of the cooperative. The tour lasts for approximately 3 hours and costs a total of 13 Euros per person.
