An unforgettable experience under Vesuvius🌋🐝🐝🦋🦋 Spending a day at the Cantina Sorrentino, at the foot of Vesuvius, was a journey through history, tradition and authentic flavors. Accompanied by Carmelo, an exceptional guide, we walked among the rows of vines, discovering the secrets of Vesuvian viticulture and the peculiarities of Piedirosso, a grape variety that is the symbol of this territory. Carmelo, with his passion and ability to involve, was able to create a unique atmosphere, making each explanation interesting and full of curiosities. The experience continued at the winery's restaurant, where we tasted a selection of the company's wines, including Caprettone, a white wine typical of the area, which with its freshness and minerality was able to enhance the flavors of the local cuisine. An unmissable experience for those who love good wine, authentic cuisine and the charm of a territory that is unique in the world.

We came for the wine tasting and cooking class. Mary did an outstanding job teaching us how to make gnocchi. She was very friendly and fun to work with. Umberto was also very friendly, shared his knowledge of the vineyard/Mt. Vesuvius with us on the tour. He also told us about the grapes and process of making each type of wine during the tasting. Make sure you are hungry when you come. The amount of food served was amazing. No need for breakfast before or lunch after! We would recommend this event. We did add several kinds of wines to our souvenirs!

Unforgettable Day A food and wine, landscape and cultural experience not to be missed! We discovered the true essence of Sorrentino and the secrets of the Vesuvian land, unique in terms of properties and quality, through a magnificent tour led by Carmelo, an expert, passionate and charismatic guide. It all began with a walk in the vineyard where Carmelo introduced us not only to the history of the place, but also to the cultivation techniques and the peculiarities of the soil that contribute to the production of their unique wines (including vegan wines), all accompanied by anecdotes about the Vesuvian land and small historical pearls, surrounded by an extraordinary landscape. We then sat in a room with a view of the Gulf where we enjoyed a succulent lunch accompanied by a tasting of excellent wines. An unforgettable day in a unique place, Carmelo the highlight of this experience to live!
