Very well organized winery. The welcome was very nice even though it was not planned and we did not have a previous appointment. I recommend it if you like wine tourism.

Visiting the Maryan Wine Cellar was a delightful journey into the heart of Bulgarian winemaking tradition. Founded in 2010 by the Ivanovi family and their friend Stefan Choranov, the cellar is a perfect blend of history and modernity. Set in the picturesque village of Maryan, the winery beautifully honors its heritage, connected to the legend of Kera Tamara. The Ivanovi family's dedication is palpable as they guided me through their process. They use only the finest grapes from meticulously monitored vineyards, ensuring each bottle is of the highest quality. The cellar's state-of-the-art equipment, designed specifically for classic wine production, complements their traditional approach. Tasting their wines, I could sense the love and care poured into each series. Each bottle not only offers exquisite flavor but also a piece of Bulgarian history, celebrating the Second Bulgarian Kingdom. Nestled in the bosom of Stara Planina, Maryan Wine Cellar is a testament to the passion and commitment of its founders. It’s an experience I highly recommend to any wine lover.
