The tasting features local grape varieties that have been cultivated by the Monks of Meteora since the 15th and 16th centuries, including Limniona and Xinomavro. Excellent small local winery! Vassilis (second generation owner) gave us a great tour of the facilities. We tried the four wine flight and all of the wines were great. We especially liked the Xinomavro, as well as the Cabernet-Syrah blend. Lovely place!

Very nice place. It's worth going there and trying it, the wines were great. Especially the wines he sent us to taste straight from the barrel were the best I've ever tasted. The person in charge was not only lovely but also very helpful. Congratulations for your effort. 🇬🇷 🇷🇺

My wife and I visited the Liakou Winery in Meteora and were incredibly impressed with the friendliness and hospitality of the team there and with the quality of the wine! Liakou Winery is maybe a 20 minute drive from Kalambaka and nestled in cute rural area within eye shot of the Meteora rocks. We had a wine tasting, along with a charcuterie board and greatly enjoyed our time there. On top of that, there were cats outside which were adorable!!! We would highly recommend a visit!
