The menu is a deep tribute to the Langhe and Roero territories, featuring rare and iconic dishes like bollito misto alla Piemontese, handmade tajarin with truffles, and the town's famous salsiccia di Bra (veal sausage). In recent years, the estate has expanded its vision through "Casa B," a dedicated wellness and educational space located just above the dining room. This project reflects the family's evolving philosophy of holistic care, focusing on nutrition and sustainable consumption through workshops and cooking classes. Whether dining in the cozy interior or the picturesque courtyard under blooming wisteria, guests experience an atmosphere that is both sophisticated and deeply welcoming. By honoring its 100-year history while embracing forward-thinking culinary practices, Ristorante Battaglino remains an essential destination for those seeking the authentic heart of Piedmontese culture.

We're planning a trip for our wine club and we just discovered Fabrizio and his wines. A wonderful discovery with a passionate and authentic winemaker. We'll be back at the end of May with our friends, that's a promise! 😁

We visited and tasted at this family-run winery. It was exactly the experience you imagine when you dream of spending a few days surrounded by wine, the countryside, and the people: simply wonderful. The winery belongs to the Independent Wineries network and cultivates around 6 hectares of vineyards in three typical Roero areas. They produce nine wines: four whites, four reds, and one rosé – all with character and masterful craftsmanship (these are not mass-produced wines, but unique in taste, aroma, color, and body). We tasted all the wines together with cheese, salami, and the ubiquitous Piedmontese breadsticks. We learned about the characteristics and history of each wine and discussed possible pairings and variations. In short, you understood that this winery is worth a visit to fully appreciate the unique qualities of its wines and the passion that drives them. Congratulations!

An intimate tasting, led directly by Fabrizio, in his modern family winery. He was friendly, approachable, and willing to answer any questions we had. The wines had an intense and spicy character; I especially loved the Arneis Riserva Bastìa. The prices were more than reasonable, both for the tasting (including breadsticks, cheeses, and charcuterie) and for purchasing bottles. Highly recommended! P.S.: Be careful with Waze, as it might mistakenly direct you to the parallel road; it's better to use Google Maps.

A wonderful experience! Fabrizio gave us a warm welcome. We toured the wine cellars, chose a wine from the wide selection, and enjoyed a picnic in the vineyard. A beautiful location and a heartfelt welcome. Everything was organized with care and attention to detail. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special experience.
