I had a fantastic stay at the Bononia Estate overlooking the Danube River. The room had an amazing river view, the restaurant served delicious food, the rooms were stylish, the wine was exceptional, and the staff was wonderful. Highly recommended!

Breathtaking views of the Danube bend, beautiful fields and wild birds galore. The cellar is ancient, the wine excellent and the atmosphere is guaranteed.

We visited the hotel to celebrate a personal occasion and loved the whole experience. Absolutely everything has been thought of in the rooms, the food in the restaurant is of a very good standard. The view of the river is wonderful. We are also impressed by the responsiveness of the staff, who made a special gesture on the occasion of our holiday and also gave us a bottle of wine. The prices in their wine shop are lower than locally and as lovers of fine wines we took advantage of that. So far the Vrachan-Misket is our favorite. Unfortunately the way there is disgusting to say the least and one day when the problem is fixed (hopefully) we would visit this wonderful place again.

I don't understand the bad reviews and for me they don't reflect reality. The Bononia Estate Winery & Resort is a dream hotel! The rooms are clean and well furnished and the service is outstanding - you really feel like royalty as all your wishes are fulfilled. The pool is fantastic and looks like it flows directly into the Danube. It's wonderful to sit outside and look out over the Danube. The food is incredibly good and deserves Michelin stars. Overall, a highly recommended hotel!
