The food was delicious and the wine was great. Unfortunately, the service was a disaster (a very young team - there was probably a recent change - but they promised to improve). Despite the high prices and ambience, there were only cheap paper napkins that were carelessly placed in the middle of the table along with the cutlery. No small plates were served with the bread. The appropriate wine for each course was only brought once the food was already on the table and getting cold. The old glasses were then cleared away while everyone was still eating. Despite asking to wait for dessert, it was brought a short time later without further ado, while one of my guests was still in the bathroom. It's a shame, because the food was actually really good... Update: After my review here, the team kindly got in touch with me again. There was apparently a short-term change of tenant recently. There is still a lot of room to improve in terms of service. I would be delighted if the new, young team settles in quickly. Then this will once again be a great restaurant with delicious food and good wine. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.

A lovely ambiance that doesn't feel too modern, and friendly, unobtrusive service. All the wines were delicious. The food was exceptionally tasty. We started with cream of Riesling soup, followed by flank steak. However, this could have been served much warmer.

Beautiful ambience combining the old with the new. Quiet summer terrace in the courtyard and cozy dining room inside. Carefully selected dishes from the Rheingau with a modern twist for small and large appetites. Fine and tasty wines. Very friendly and attentive service, the employees are totally accommodating and always have a sincere smile for the guest.
