Very nice discovery of regional wines, in a magnificent setting with clear explanations and very friendly service!

The winery follows a somewhat unusual approach - all wines are stored exclusively in barriques for a relatively long time. The wine tasting here was interesting and the wines are consistently of high quality. Don't be put off by the relatively high price if you are interested in special wines.

We visited the Edi Simcic winery and were welcomed by his son Aleks. The architectural structure is interesting from every point of view, as well as the wine offering, which is rich in nuances and precision, all of which is of a high standard.

Professional staff, good wines, modern interior. Loved the cellars and their art. Comparing to other wine tastings, I would recommend to improve with snacks, maybe some freshly baked bread or other bread alternatives. Improvise :)

Fantastic experience at Edi Simčič winery. Our host was extremely welcoming, knowledgeable and generous. The wine itself was top class, and the winery located in a beautiful setting. It was served with tasty cold cuts which was appreciated! Could not recommend this winery strongly enough for a tasting.
