“Polluce” IGP Calabria red wine from the Dioscuri Estate. Pollux is considered the son of Zeus and brother of Castor and Elena. The affection that unites them is so strong that when Castor dies Pollux, who is immortal, decides to die too. The Dioscuri were twins, although their mother conceived them separately, uniting on the same night first with Zeus and then with the Spartan king Tyndarus. From the union with the god Pollux would have been born, who distinguished himself as a boxer in the Greek Olympics. Polluce wine is long-lived, fruity with hints of cherry, fresh, aromatic and harmonious.

UVE E VINIFICAZIONE:
POSIZIONE GEOGRAFICA: Comune di Bianco, Provincia di Reggio
Calabria
VITIGNI: UVE: 100% Syrah. Le uve vengono raccolte manualmente, a
perfetta maturazione fenolica.
EPOCA DI VENDEMMIA: Prima metà di agosto
VINIFICAZIONE: Le uve vengono diraspate e opportunamente pressate
morbido e successivamente fermentato utilizzando
solo i lieviti naturalmente presenti sull'uva, il
il contatto con le bucce è di circa 15 giorni,
affinato brevemente in legno.
ESAME ORGANOLETTICO:
COLORE: Rosso rubino intenso.
PROFUMO: Fruttato con note di ciliegia, ribes e sentori speziati
sfondo.
GUSTO: È un vino di grande freschezza e grande armonia.
ABBINAMENTI: Si abbina bene con salumi e carni saporite
rossi alla griglia, selvaggina, formaggi affumicati
ed erbe aromatiche.
TEMPERATURA DI SERVIZIO: 18 – 20 °C
