The experience begins in Sergio's cozy tavern, where the presentation takes place. A tasting of 7 wines follows, accompanied by typical local products.
Sergio shares the story of each wine, from its birth in the vineyards to the winemaking process in the cellar. In the meantime, the dishes associated with each wine are served. The tasting is accompanied by samples of tuna sauce, raw salami, pancetta, lardo, tuma con la cugnà and biscuits.
The selected wines are the following:
- Roero Arneis
- Dogliani Sambu
- Upper Dogliani
- Langhe Nebbiolo
- Piedmont Barbera
- Langhe Red
- Barolo
After the tastings, you will move to the cellar, where you can closely observe the work of the cellar: from fermentation to the phases of decanting and aging, up to bottling and labeling. After the visit to the cellar you will have the opportunity to purchase the wines previously tasted.
The visit lasts about two hours. The experience can accommodate up to 15 people and does not allow pets. Upon reservation, gluten-free products are provided for celiacs.
