Plesivica is a region in Croatia that produces wine and is known for the red wines they produce. Plesivica wine region is situated on the south side of the Vinjani Hills, near the Cetina River. The vines are primarily found in fertile pastures and meadows. of the region and are mostly planted on south-facing slopes. In wine production, there are three types of grapes used: "Vranac" locally known as "Plesivica" and "Teran" which is known as "Crljeni". The most common grape in this wine is red, with some white wine being produced as well.
