Jocu Nero d'Avola is a vibrant and expressive red wine made from the iconic Sicilian Nero d'Avola grape. This wine offers intense aromas of ripe red fruit, such as cherry and plum, with vegetal notes of sage and eucalyptus, along with a touch of dark chocolate. On the palate, it’s smooth, well-balanced, and full-bodied, with soft tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The name Jocu pays homage to our grandfather, who believed that "winemaking is a game"—a joyful, yet serious, craft. Jocu Nero d'Avola is a full-bodied, expressive red wine made from the iconic Sicilian Nero d'Avola grape. The wine is crafted with care and tradition, beginning with a maceration of the grape skins for at least 15 days, allowing for the extraction of deep color and rich aromas. Indigenous yeasts are used throughout the fermentation process, ensuring a natural and authentic expression of the grape and terroir. After fermentation, Jocu Nero d'Avola undergoes a slow and careful aging in stainless steel tanks for a minimum of 18 months, followed by 2 months in bottle, which helps to refine its structure and smoothness.
