Azgranata Winery is a gem in the Shirvan region, renowned for its exceptional grape and pomegranate wines. Founded in 2011 and spanning 14 hectares, Azgranata has quickly become a leading producer of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in the South Caucasus, with an impressive annual output of 24 million bottles. Pomegranate Orchards and Unique Wines

Azgranata is particularly famous for its distinctive pomegranate wines. Nestled in the scenic Agsu district on the Shirvan plain, the winery boasts 350 hectares of pomegranate orchards featuring the Gulovsha variety, celebrated for its exceptional quality in winemaking. The unique terroir of Shirvan, enriched by its diverse soils, contributes to the creation of wines with characteristics that are truly one-of-a-kind. Visitors can experience these unique flavors firsthand during vineyard tours.

Wine Production at Azgranata

Situated at an altitude of 400-700 meters in the Adnaly Valley, Azgranata's vineyards are home to a blend of European and Caucasian grape varieties. Local grapes such as Madrasa, Bayan Shira, and Shirvanshahi harmonize beautifully with international varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Saperavi, Rkatsiteli, and Muscat. The winery features facilities for fruit reception, primary processing, alcohol production, and bottling. With a finished product warehouse capacity of 2 million liters, Azgranata is well-equipped to meet demand. The state-of-the-art laboratory, outfitted with equipment from Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Bulgaria, and France, conducts essential chemical and microbiological analyses to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
