Founded in 1956, Cooperativa Beira Serra stands as a testament to resilience in the ever-evolving wine industry. With a dedicated community of over 550 members, this winery produces approximately 5 million liters of wine annually. Nestled in Vila Franca das Naves, within the Trancoso municipality of Portugal's Beira Interior region, the winery boasts state-of-the-art technology, including fermentation tanks with a capacity of one million liters. Their wines are enjoyed in various countries, such as France, China, Germany, Spain, and Brazil.

Vineyards at High Altitude

The Serra da Estrela mountain range shields the vineyards from harsh winter winds, enhancing soil fertility. The high-altitude location, combined with the region's unique climate, creates ideal conditions for vine cultivation. The vineyards are situated away from urban pollution, ensuring that the grapes benefit from clean air and water, resulting in fresh flavors reminiscent of wildflowers and fruits.
