Domaine Nyballe: producing exclusively red wine in Denmark
Domaine Nyballe is a small winery located on the tip of Broager peninsula. Their ambition is to produce Danish red wine with a focus on fullness, quality and exclusivity.
Following organic winemaking
The wine at the winery Domaine Nyballe is made as organic as possible. They do not use pesticides at all, only ecological approved treatments. The grapes are harvested by hand and then sorted manually on a single grape level. The wine is made with minimum use of mechanical aids. All wine is bottled in the vineyard and has a very low sulfite content. The produced wines are not filtered, which is why a little precipitation as well as a light deposit in the bottle can occur.
Enjoy beautiful days off in the midst of the vineyards
The grape varieties which are grown at the winery are Leon Millot, Castel, Regent, Cabaret Noir and Rondo. They produce excellent quality of red, rose, and dessert wines. They also produce a limited amount of wine annually.
They have also rented a small newly renovated cottage of 10-meter square located in the middle of our vineyard. It can accommodate 2 people in separate beds or as a double bed. The bathroom with hot water and the toilet is next door, 3 meters away.
Wine tasting and guided tours of the winery are offered only for smaller groups of visitors.
