Ventured in after visiting WOW glad we did what an excellent experience couldn’t fault any part of our visit, learnt a lot from the very attentive manager who was very knowledgeable and the port we selected was very good, would highly recommend a visit to this port cellar.

I went with my father to visit the museum and taste some wines and everything was excellent. We were served by Mariana who added a sense of humor to the entire visit and who answered all the questions we had. Congratulations to the team!

A very informative, interesting tour and a wonderful Fado performance. We were very pleasantly surprised, a wonderful evening without crowds of tourists.

If you’re looking for an interesting, but low key port tour, this is for you! For €10 you take a self-guided tour of the cellar and learn all about the making of port. You then get to enjoy their famous Bin 27 port in the tasting room. A great alternative for people who don’t fancy a long guided tour and waiting for availability for the tour in English.

It's a very picturesque place, though not spectacular. The best part is the wine tasting.

The visit to the museum was dynamic and the staff were super friendly, I highly recommend it. We did a wine tasting and were recommended some chocolates that made the experience very positive! Congratulations to the team! We will be back.

On a rainy day we went to Caves Fonseca, where we ended up doing a wine tasting and learning a little more about Port wine. It was a really fun place. The guide was really friendly and helpful.

We tried the guided tour + meal + fado show formula on Saturday evening. The guided tour was very interesting and the guide was extremely friendly and very clear in English. The meal was very good, but the highlight of the evening was the fado show: the two musicians were incredible and what can I say about the singer, her voice is simply superb. We came back for a tasting of 5 ports and we filled our suitcases with them. Thank you Fonseca!!!

A spectacular wine cellar, delicious wines for all tastes, a warm welcome and a cozy atmosphere, but what we liked most was the tour given by Miss Adriana. We were fortunate to be the first group of tourists to whom Adriana performed her work with excellence and great friendliness. Thank you very much Adriana. Thank you very much to everyone at Fonseca.
