Our vision is straightforward: to craft some of the finest wines in the world.

The Winery

Since planting our first vines in 2004, we have focused on producing exceptional vintage wines using grapes sourced exclusively from our own vineyards.

High-Quality Wines

At Gusbourne Estate, we cultivate premium Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier grapes across 60 hectares in Appledore, Kent, and 30 hectares adjacent to the Goodwood Estate in West Sussex. Our vineyards feature predominantly Burgundian clones, which yield smaller quantities of intensely flavorful fruit that thrive in our unique microclimates. This exceptional fruit is the cornerstone of our award-winning sparkling wines, all crafted using the traditional method.

Our inaugural vintages, Brut Reserve 2006 and Blanc de Blancs 2006, were released in 2010 and received critical acclaim, earning praise from some of the world's most discerning wine critics. Each year, Gusbourne's sparkling and still wines continue to garner prestigious national and international awards, solidifying our reputation in the wine industry.

We tasted this superb English wine in ION HARBOUR malta. For the French, buying English sparkling wine would seem to be sacrilege but when it is good and the royal family enjoys it at brunch... it becomes a privilege. I bought 4 bottles 🍾 for my birthday! Thanks

Very informative and interesting tour. If a beginner like myself it gives you a real good insight into the time and care put into this amazing wines. The food is just fantastic too! Lovely surroundings and welcoming staff make you feel relaxed

Our visit to Gusbourne Estate for my partner’s birthday was truly brilliant, we had a fantastic host, Patricia. She warmly welcomed us and shared her knowledge of the vineyards and winemaking process, making the tour both informative and engaging. Tasting the wines right in the vineyard, surrounded by the vines, was a highlight. The wine pairings elevated the experience, especially during our three-course lunch at The Nest, where we were first to sample their autumn menu which was delicious. We have a new found appreciation for Gusbourne’s wines and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!

Outstanding experience from start to finish yesterday! Paul, our guide and lover of all things wine, was fantastic in delivering the history of Gusbourne, the fascinating facts around making wine in England and bringing some lovely humour too! The three course lunch with wine pairing was superb. The chef came and spoke to our table about the local ingredients sourced and how he really looks at the flavours and textures of the wine to ensure the food compliments them. I highly recommend this experience. It would make a really lovely gift too.
