Viticulture

The Lagrein is also a autochthon alto adige grape-variety and made himself a name in the world of wines.
Our Lagralena is composed of 100% Lagrein-grapes which get cultivated exclusively on the hill of St. Magdalena.
Vinification
For the harmonization and rounding of our Lagrein we use partially small Barriques-barrels, to give the wine its last finishing.
Tasting Notes
In the nose appear the aromas of mature fruits, sweet licorice and violets.
The dark, deep violet coloure whith garnet red nuances accentuate the taste of dark berries and black elderberries.
Despite the alcoholic gradation of 13,5-14 %vol the Lagralena is very palatable and seems unexpectedly silky. We recommend the Lagralena to deer or meat, as well as to chees.It’s perfect for convivial evenings and an absolute must for the wine-connoissuer!
