Discover the world of wine from a unique, insider perspective with the “Day with the enologist” experience at Podere Casa Piana—designed for those who wish to explore viticulture and winemaking in a truly in-depth and hands-on way. 

Guided by our winemaker, you will begin with a walk through the vineyards (weather permitting), where you’ll learn about the characteristics of the Colli Bolognesi, the grape varieties we grow, and the agronomic practices that shape the vineyard throughout the year.

The tour will then continue inside the cellar, where you will explore each step of the production process: from harvesting and crushing to fermentation, aging, and bottling. The winemaker will be available to answer technical questions, discuss winemaking techniques, and explain what makes the wines of Podere Casa Piana truly unique.

After the tour, enjoy a guided technical tasting of 5 estate wines. Each wine will be paired with a tigella filled with cured meats or cheese, carefully selected to highlight the aromas and characteristics of each glass.

This immersive 3-hour experience is ideal for wine enthusiasts, aspiring sommeliers, and anyone who wants to dive deeper into the world of winemaking and experience the passion behind every bottle.

It's a wonderful place. We felt very comfortable. The hosts were very warm and welcoming. The products were of the highest quality. Rabbits come right up to the edge of the vineyards, directly to the house. As darkness fell, we had a magical view of the lights of Bologna in the valley below. We would love to come back again.

Nestled in the rolling hills with stunning views of the valley. Good wines and a great atmosphere, plus a lovely outdoor area to enjoy afternoons and evenings. A wonderful discovery.

I did a tasting with a group of friends, there were 10 of us, and Simone was super welcoming. The explanations about the area and the subsequent tour of the winery were interesting and clear. The tasting was excellent, with delicious wines. They were also very kind in providing gluten-free options. Highly recommended!

Stopped here with my two sisters to sample some wines. Giulia was our hostess and was a wealth of knowledge and hospitality. Beautiful small vineyard with a variety of different delicious wines to try.

Abbiamo trascorso una fantastica esperienza in this eccezionale podere dove vengono prodotti degli eccellenti wines! I own ci hanno deliziato facendoci tasting and loro vini accompagnati da delle eccellenze gastronomiche della zona ed il tempo è trascorso con un armonia inaspettata! The cortesia and the gentilezza have accompagnato la professionalità nell'argomentare ogni wine che abbiamo "gustato"! To ensure that the Podere Casa Piana is transported at a faster pace!
