Podere Casa Piana

I did a tasting with a group of friends, there were 10 of us, and Simone was super welcoming. The explanations about the area and the subsequent tour of the winery were interesting and clear. The tasting was excellent, with delicious wines. They were also very kind in providing gluten-free options. Highly recommended!

Nestled in the rolling hills with stunning views of the valley. Good wines and a great atmosphere, plus a lovely outdoor area to enjoy afternoons and evenings. A wonderful discovery.

Stopped here with my two sisters to sample some wines. Giulia was our hostess and was a wealth of knowledge and hospitality. Beautiful small vineyard with a variety of different delicious wines to try.

It's a wonderful place. We felt very comfortable. The hosts were very warm and welcoming. The products were of the highest quality. Rabbits come right up to the edge of the vineyards, directly to the house. As darkness fell, we had a magical view of the lights of Bologna in the valley below. We would love to come back again.

A wonderful experience amidst the tranquility and beauty of the Bolognese hills. We enjoyed an aperitif followed by a tasting at sunset and were delighted. The products served were of excellent quality and carefully selected to highlight the regional flavors: local cured meats and cheeses, vegetables preserved in oil, and superb wines from the estate. Special praise goes to the owner and his family; they were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and passionate, sharing the history of the place and the products with us with great knowledge and openness.

Great wine, great food and great hosts!

I was here with a friend for a wine tasting. Simone, the owner, was incredibly kind and helpful. He greeted us, told us the story of his family business, and showed us the vineyards and winery. We tasted six of his organic wines, ate tigelle with cured meats and cheese, and sampled his homemade honey. The value for money was unbeatable. We will definitely be back to enjoy his summer events (picnic nights, an evening with an astronomer, to name just a few) and because of the warm hospitality we received.

Me and my partner had a wonderful afternoon at Podere Casa Piana. Their wine, food plate and place was local, authentic and delicious. Cannot recommend this place enough, they even helped us getting back to Bologna city. Their hospitality has been the greatest we have experienced here on our trip to Italy. We would recommend everyone to visit if you’re planning on visiting a wine yard near Bologna. Thank you Julia and Simone.

The place was fantastic! The wine was exquisite, and the cheese along with the meat and cold cuts were absolutely delicious. The view was breathtaking, and the cozy atmosphere made it even more special. The owners were incredibly kind, and the whole experience was unforgettable.
