The "Terroir" Experience offers a guided tour of our winery, where you will taste five of our finest wines, complemented by a selection of regional delicacies. This experience is crafted to immerse you in the world of wine, highlighting the unique characteristics of Ribafreixo Wines and the historic terroir of Vidigueira, a region renowned for its winemaking for over 2000 years.

Your visit will begin with a warm welcome and a brief introduction to Ribafreixo Wines on our panoramic balcony, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the vineyards. We will discuss the various grape varieties we cultivate, our sustainable vineyard practices, and the unique microclimate and soils that define our wines.

Next, you will embark on a guided tour of the winery, where you will learn about gravity winemaking, the fermentation process, and the aging of our wines in barrels and bottles. We will also explain why our wines are vegan-friendly.

The highlight of your experience will be a sensory tasting of five signature wines:

• Connections Chenin Blanc: A refreshing white wine showcasing the unique qualities of this variety in Vidigueira.
• Pato Frio Grande Escolha: A white wine aged in French oak barrels, offering depth and complexity.
• Gáudio Clássico: Our most awarded red wine, a blend of traditional Alentejo grape varieties.
• Gáudio Reserva: A limited-production red wine, expertly crafted from Alicante Bouschet and Touriga Nacional.
• Gáudio Liqueur Wine: A delightful dessert wine that highlights the potential of the Antão Vaz variety.
