Torre do Frade is a family winery in operation since 1839 and is open for guests all year round. You can take their Wine Safari which includes a tour of the vineyards and the winery where you will get to know the entire process of winemaking from harvesting to the fermentation and bottling of wines.
You can taste many of their distinct wines paired with delicious local cuisine and snacks. During the harvest season, tourists can help them in work for 30€ and have lunch with their family as a reward for it. The natural beauty of the place makes the tasting experience even better for the visitors.

The estate used to be a convent from 1384 to 1834 before the owner’s ancestors bought the property in 1839.
