Step into the cool, quiet depths of our wine cellar and enjoy a guided tour with one of our team members. Learn about the journey from harvested grape to finished wine and witness the magic of fermentation.
Find out what makes each oak barrel unique and what the flora in the cellar is all about. Have you ever wondered how the filter works or why you do batonnage? You will have plenty of time to ask any questions you have about winemaking, soil, terroir, biodynamics, and the importance of the lunar calendar.

Then, in the tasting room, you can sample a selection of our single-vineyard wines, which are the purest expression of their terroir. Each glass tells the story of a specific plot: its soil, its exposure to sun and wind, and the work that shaped it.

This tasting is for those who want to delve deeper and taste not just wine, but the unique character of the land itself.

Our guests often rave about the personal touch and expertise of our staff, making each visit memorable. Whether you are a wine enthusiast or a casual drinker, this tour is perfect for anyone looking to learn more about biodynamic practices and taste exceptional wines. Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to connect with nature and enjoy the fruits of our labor!

Great organic winery in Markgräflerland. As an example, the Padaperc 2020 was fantastic. Based on a Bordeaux, the dark red cuvée has more fruitiness than the French, with strong cherry notes. A pleasant acidity and tannins come later in the finish. Just right for my taste and not as heavy as many Bordeaux.

Dear Weingut Rieger team, thank you very much for the excellent champagne breakfast. There really wasn't anything missing. From the family atmosphere to the many homemade delicacies, just to name a few, the delicious yeast plait, the carrot-nut bread, beetroot dip, etc. Even vegetarians were thought of and of course, the appropriate champagne clothing for the individual courses. All in all a very successful event. Keep it up, we'll be happy to come back.

Are you a wine connoisseur? Do you expect the interplay between the earth, the vine and the skills of the winemaker? Aside from wine, do you want to experience a professional location or theme-related events that you associate with wine? Then there is another answer in the region: Rieger❗️ The Rieger winery is impressively maintained and managed by a managing director Phillipp with a far-sighted passion without absolute humanity for vine and wine with his family for generations. Wine connoisseurs know this number one among you and can only recommend it❗️❗️❗️☀️

Craziness!! Just experienced another workshop on biodynamic viticulture. From the soil to the wine. Highly recommended and Weinbau Rieger has wines that are for the enjoyment of the palate. An absolute MUST!
