With this selfguided Casale 120 experience, including a picnic basket full of goodies, you can explore and experience the historic vineyard in Contrada Picciolo with an ample view of the volcano, at your own pace and time. Choose your favorite Etna Bianco, Rosato and/or Etna Rosso wine, which can be ordered separately upon arrival. There are 7 unique picnic spots available in the vineyard. From kids-friendly to romantic under a shady fruit tree, in the garden by the ping-pong table or higher up with a view over the vineyards and the mountains behind. For children, there is a quiz about Etna vineyards in the picnic basket, to enrich their experience in the vineyard. You can also explore a hidden natural lava cave.

What a fantastic evening we had at Casale 120 Winery! Margriet and Maurizio welcomed us with incredible hospitality and introduced us to their vineyard. The cave was truly special, and the house has been beautifully renovated, but the view of Etna (including the eruption) was the highlight of our visit. The wines and appetizers were also delicious. We especially enjoyed the 2022 Etna Rosso, which we even took back to our vacation home. Highly recommended!
