Savor Volcanic Etna Wines on a Historic Vineyard Tour

Start your experience at Casale 120 with a guided tour with the producers themselves through the historic Contrada Picciolo vineyard, on ancient dry stone wall terraces on the northern side of Etna. Discover the unique characteristics of Etna viticulture and its territory, the winemaking techniques used on the estate and admire a plot planted with varieties of almost extinct native grapes that Casale 120 is saving. Take in the scenic views of the top craters of the volcano. It is also possible, during the tour, to visit a natural lava cave. The visit continues with a tasting of four wines from different vintages signed Casale 120, including Etna Bianco from the eastern side and Etna Rosso from the northern side of the volcano. Each wine is carefully paired with a selection of typical Etna products, including cheeses in various stages of aging, seasonal specialties, local dried fruit and the estate's extra virgin olive oil, served with freshly baked bread from the wood-fired oven. The experience concludes at the historic wine estate manor.
