For those seeking a genuine and relaxed first encounter with the heart of our craft, this experience offers the perfect immersion into the Margaval project. Your journey begins with a guided tour of the winery, where we share our history and walk you through the very space where our wines come to life.

The experience culminates in a seated tasting of three distinct wines held right inside the winery, allowing you to soak in the authentic atmosphere of our production cellar. Guided by our philosophy of minimal intervention, we explain the intricate journey from grape to glass—detailing the nuances between white and red winemaking and the conscious decisions that shape each wine’s final profile. To complete this sensory connection to our land, the tasting is paired with artisanal local cheeses and our own estate-produced olive oil. It is a welcoming, accessible, and honest introduction designed for those who want to discover the essential soul of our winery.

Loved our wine tasting session! Maria was absolutely amazing, very informative and so lovely and easy to talk to! The wine was really good (we bought some to go) and the cheese bread and olive oil was delicious too! It’s a really intimate relaxing atmosphere and setting. Highly highly recommend- would come back again!

Espaço de tasting de vinhos produzidos pela própria quinta. As the wines are made in adega, there is no answer. Servem refeições para grupo, num espaço muito bem arranjado e agradável no primeiro andar. Pessoal muito simpatico e prestável.

Bravo, truly, sincerely bravo! Knowing how to share, engage, and introduce wine lovers to the magic of wine is exactly what we hope for from this experience, and that's precisely what Maria delivered. But far more than a marketing ploy in an increasingly digital world, it's the human experience that truly stands out! From the family history and warm welcome to the authentic offerings and inviting atmosphere, and the local dishes perfectly complementing the excellent wines! A truly flawless experience that makes you want to return very soon with friends or family! For a French woman like myself, who immigrated to Portugal, this is the quintessential example of Portuguese simplicity and hospitality. I can't wait to go back!

Our visit to Margaval / Adega da Gaveta was truly unforgettable. Maria was an outstanding guide, combining warmth with deep knowledge, and she made every part of the tour come alive. We tasted an impressive range of wines and local distilled spirits, perfectly paired with regional products that elevated the experience. The atmosphere was authentic and welcoming, and we couldn’t resist taking a few bottles home. We can’t wait to return to enjoy the vines, the wines, the incredible hospitality, and of course Paco.

We had an absolutely outstanding experience at Margaval Vinhos. From the moment we arrived, Maria welcomed us warmly and gave us a completely private tour through the family’s vineyards. The atmosphere is truly authentic and family oriented. Maria shared with us the fascinating story of the winery and made a genuine, personal connection that made the visit even more special. Afterwards, we toured the winery itself, where we received an in depth explanation of the winemaking process. Of course, we also enjoyed an incredible tasting that included a wide variety of their wines, distilled alcohol, and local products. The entire experience was a perfect 10/10 , nothing was missing. This is exactly the kind of authentic, warm, and enriching winery visit I always hope to find. The wines were excellent, diverse, refreshing, and unique, and the food was delicious.
