Write a reviewIt's the perfect winery tour to combine with a visit to the spectacular Jardim Buddha Eden which is only a few minutes away. We enjoyed learning the fascinating history of this family owned and operated quinta, touring the buildings and garden, and tasting several wines. It would have been nice to have the option to taste a few of their premium wines or to buy a bottle that is only sold at the vineyard.

Quinta do Sanguinhal is now one of my favorite wineries in Portugal. Our guide was gracious, accommodating, and very knowledgeable. This is not a cookie cutter wine tour. The winery is steeped in a strong family tradition, and you can tell they are proud of their production. We left with over half a dozen bottles and will be ordering many more in the future. This is a must visit!
